We ordered two "Moco Loco" and one "Hurricane Shrimp". This place has a self order(?) service AND a person who you can talk to when ordering (yeah... I chose the first one coz I'm an awkward person to talk to :β€’). The staff are nice tho, so no worries.

Stopped by after going to the nearby smoke shop and I am very glad I did. I waited about 10 minutes for them to open and popped inside. I ordered a half loco moco (the half orders are a great way to try things), some hurricane tots and a can of diet coke. The loco moco was perfect - runny eggs, savory salty onion gravy with a touch of sweetness, fluffy rice - perfect. The hurricane tots where a treat as well with crunchy glassy tots and the drizzle of sauce (just Kewpie I believe) and furikake making it a little more unique, though I did hope for them to be a lot saucier than they were. They had a great selection of Hawaiian drinks too. Overall a great meal at a great price. Go here.

I ordered locomoco and their sauce is tasty. Also ordered combo garlic shrimp with sausage

Little Aloha nails it on Hawaiian flavour β€” the garlic shrimp is incredible, buttery, and loaded with garlicky goodness. The furikake chicken and spam musubi are also top-notch comfort bites that hit all the right notes. Just know it’s takeout-only and the service isn’t exactly warm, but the food more than makes up for it.

Long overdue reviewβ€”Little Aloha is a gem in SF for those craving authentic Hawaiian garlic shrimp and other snacks. Shrimps are perfectly crispy, so you can eat them shell-on. Their spicy garnish is a nice blend of salty, spicy, and Chinese black bean sauce flavors. They don’t skimp hereβ€”enjoy finishing it with your white rice. Tater tots pair well here too. To my knowledge, it’s the only legit β€œshave” ice in the city in the sense the ice is like freshly fallen soft snow, not the hard rocky ice we typically get in β€œshaved” ice. Portion sizes are huge, and the syrups pack tons of flavor. I gotta try their malasadas next time (on Saturday’s only)β€”until then, I’d recommend this legit Hawaiian outpost to anyone craving the real deal.
